Historic World War Two Aircraft To Visit New England Over Memorial Day Weekend
Memorial Day weekend tends to be different things to different people. Its the kickoff to summer and three days off from work but its also a time to remember that freedom isn't free.
We remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and there are many events to commemorate this. There will be a World War Two B-17 bomber coming to Lawrence Municipal Airport from Friday to Monday. The event is sponsored by the Experimental Aircraft Association. Proceeds from the event will help the this historic aircraft flying as there are only 15 of them left still in the air.
