I’m as Excited For David Price’s French Bulldog as I am for Baseball Season

Wook at the wittle guy.....

I love the Red Sox.  I'm a huge fan of summertime, going to Fenway and taking in the whole Sox game experience: beer and hot dogs, the intoxicated guy next to me yelling cuss words and digging through my pockets to give to the Jimmy Fund when the cans come around.

But this season's arrival of ace pitcher David Price has me extra excited.  Not just because he's a former Cy Young Award winner and a HUGE get for the club after signing a seven year contract but also because he's a well-known french bulldog owner.

Astro makes several appearances during games has a very active presence on Price's Instagram and Twitter accounts.  In fact, Price's arrival in Boston came with a full article on Astro at Boston.com.

So why is this so exciting?  While I'm far too busy to have a dog of my own, I am the proud "Uncle" of my sister's dog- A french bulldog mix named "Louie."  I was never a huge fan of smaller dogs until I met Lou.  Now I love the "Frenchie" breed.

They're full of personality, they love people, and they're absolutely ridiculous looking.  What's not to love?  I frequently take Lou for weekends and he makes numerous appearances at the radio station.
