In Manchester, Crime is Way Down

And it's all thanks to technology.....

In Manchester, the Police say they've been able to use technology to decrease criminal activity.  As a resident of the Queen City my interest certainly peaked on such an idea.

It's all thanks to technology!  IBM developed a program specifically for Manchester which creates predictable places for crime to happen according to statistic.

Manchester Officers say it's paying off!

According to WMUR, robberies, homicides, burglaries and aggravated assaults decreased by as much as 17% in a year.

The program can show officers not only where crime may take place, but even as specific as what time of day during things like peak times.

Kudos to the Manchester PD!
