It was a wild weekend in Orland, Maine, as the town's fire department battled a scary blaze. And it just happened to be during Maine's first winter storm of the season.

These incredibly graphic images of the plow truck fire were taken by local resident Dustin Bowden. He shared them with the Orland Fire Department and us to help show the public the violence and ferocity of this past weekend's incident.

Crews from numerous trucks were on scene to help fight the blaze. The department reported that it took about three hours to safely put out the fire, clean up the scene, and ready the trucks and gear for the next assignment. All-in-all, it sounded like a very successful morning for the department and its support staff. Just another day in the life of a firefighter.
