According to WABI, a number of remembrance events are planned, including a candlelight vigil hosted by the Maine Resiliency Center from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at Simard-Payne Memorial Park.

Meanwhile, News Center Maine reported that Central Maine Medical Center would hold a moment of silence at 7:24 p.m., the exact time the first victim came to the hospital three years ago.

As we remember those lost, it’s important to honor their lives, not defined by the horror they endured, but by the love and joy they brought to those who knew them.

In the face of unspeakable grief, the people of Lewiston and Maine have shown resilience, solidarity, and hope.

We stand with Lewiston, never forgetting the victims and always remembering the strength of this community.

Together, Lewiston remains strong.
