Spooky season has officially arrived in Maine as the leaves are changing colors, the temperatures are getting cooler and the countdown to Halloween is on.

That also means that a handful of Halloween-themed attractions in Maine are gearing up to open and deliver some blood-curdling fear into people's lives. One of the most bone-chilling attractions that you'll find anywhere in the state happens to be in the small town of Lebanon.

It's called the Haunted Grandview Manor, an indoor/outdoor fear fracas. Even just a quick look at the entrance and you'll realize you're likely in for a goosebumps-laden adventure.

The outdoor portion of Haunted Grandview Manor features a stroll through the dark woods of Lebanon. Those who dare to traverse will encounter cemeteries that house secrets.

Along the same path, there are hillbilly shacks and a slaughterhouse. All of which contain the kind of terror not everyone is cut out for.

There's also the Grandview Funeral Home, where the dearly departed have decided that they're not quite ready to leave.

On the scariest nights, the Haunted Grandview Manor attraction features hundreds of props, animatronics and live actors whose goal is to fill you with fear.

In fact, the Haunted Grandview Manor has been so frightening over the years that they now offer 'no scare' days and nights for those that are curious about the macabre attraction but don't want to have to buy a new pair of pants after visiting.

The first frightful night kicks off Friday, October 4. The entire schedule for 2024 as well as ticket details can be found here.
