Krispy Kreme Opens Tomorrow In Saco, ME

I love donuts. Let me be specific...I love Krispy Kreme donuts. I first fell in love with them when I was in the United States Air Force, serving in Iceland. I'd never heard of Krispy Kreme until someone did a huge fundraiser on base by selling what they claimed where the "most delicious donuts known to man."

Well, that a pretty bold claim where I come from. So I went to check it out. One bite in to my first glazed Krispy Kreme and I was a true believer. Years later, while living in Bakersfield, CA, Krispy Kreme opened a shop. My best friend waited in line for three days to be the first customer in line! Now I'd never go that far...but I have been know to wait in the parking lot until that light in their window goes on announcing hot donuts are ready to be served.

I'm thrilled to know that Krispy Kreme is opening their doors at 520 Main St,  Saco, ME tomorrow morning at 6. The first person in line gets a dozen FREE donuts a week, for a year!

I'm thinking it might be time for a road trip.
