The Lakes Region of New Hampshire is lucky to have a few concert venues which create a magnificent musical season for the entire region.

BankNH Pavilion is the largest venue, located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee. But there are other music festivals in the area as well.

One of the most lovely musical evenings can be experienced at the Castle in the Clouds in Moultonborough, and also in Wolfeboro. The Great Waters Music Festival, a nonprofit arts organization, hosts this wildly-popular summer series.

Great Waters mission statement is...

...to present and create outstanding musical, educational, and artistic events that appeal to a wide variety of tastes and enrich the cultural lives of those living in and visiting the Lakes Region of New Hampshire.

The music season is alive with all kinds of talent from across the country.  The highlight of the season is Judy Collins at Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire.

Additionally, there is a new Ride and Dine option, where you will be picked up in Wolfeboro, whisked off to dine at Birch & Vine Restaurant, brought to the concert, then taken back home.

Other music happenings are diversified, and you should check out Great Waters for a complete list.  There's music in two places: the Brewster Academy tent, and the famous Lucknow Mansion at Castle in the Clouds.  If you've never been to Castle in the Clouds, here's your chance, with live music, hiking, tours, yoga, and more.

Wherever you get your live music fix this summer, there are some wonderful options at smaller venues, which are often in a more relaxed setting with gorgeous lake views.

Set out to explore your options by checking out these two concert options from Great Waters.
