Let’s Convince Luke Combs to Add a Second Gillette Stadium Show Since the First is Sold Out

The power of people and social media can be strong...very strong.

So New England, it is time to use our power for good by getting Luke Combs to add a second Gillette Stadium show next summer, 2023.

If you are like me, you did not buy tickets to the Luke Combs show at Gillette on July 22, 2023. Why? Well, those puppies were sold out within hours.

With special guests Lainey Wilson, Riley Green, Flatland Cavalry, and Brent Cobb helping Combs out, the concert is already set to be the show of the summer. Combs has two albums with Columbia Nashville that combined to produce 14 singles, each one being a  #1 hit on Billboard's Country Airplay chart, according to an article by lastfm.

It's obvious that Combs was going to sell out, and the speed at which it happened was record-breaking. Luke Combs sold out Gillette Stadium faster than any first-time performer in Gillette Stadium history, according to an ABC Audio article.

The hitmaker has already sold out 37 of the 39 venues, according to an ABC Audio article.

Well, if he already has 39 venues booked, how the heck is he going to add another show? And why would he?

Well, take a look at his schedule:

Saturday, July 15, 2023: Luke Combs is in Charlotte, NC. His hometown.

That is a 13 hour bus ride, assuming he is driving and not flying, from Charlotte to Foxboro for his next show on Saturday, July 22, 2023.

Assuming he stays two or three days to be with his family, he will be up in Foxboro no later than Wednesday or Thursday.

As far as I could tell after looking at the Gillette Stadium calendar, I do not see anything on Friday or Sunday around the show.

Luke is going to NEED New England Luke Combs fans after his home show. There is no doubt that the Charlotte, NC, show will be amazing for him.

That said, us New Englanders got Luke's back. We are the people he wants to go to after his hometown show. After he thought he got the loudest applause, craziest fans, and best sold-out show...nope.

If he comes to Gillette for two nights, he'll know .

Here is another thing: his next show, following the sold out Saturday show at Gillette, is on July 29, 2023, in Philadelphia, PA. That's a five-hour bus ride and one week away.

Five hours. One week. Plenty of travel and recovery time.

Take the extra few days in NC, but we absolutely need to see a second show at Gillette Stadium. The first one sold out incredibly fast - record-breaking fast - and this one likely will too.
