Local Restaurants Competing in 34th Annual WOKQ Chowder Festival

There's a lot at stake this Saturday, June 2nd at Prescott Park in beautiful downtown Portsmouth.

Several local restaurants will be competing for bragging rights and for the coveted 'Golden Ladle Award,' during the 34th annual WOKQ Chowder Festival!

The day begins when the gates to Prescott Park open at 11:30...and it goes until the chowder is all gone! Your entertainment for the day will be provided by Nashville recording artist, CAM ('Burning House,' 'Diane')!

The forecast seems to be cooperating for WOKQ's Chowder Festival too! You can expect partly cloudy skies with high's into the 70's.
