Massachusetts Man Accused of Trying to Bait Animals With Peanut Butter-Covered Blades
Somebody in Falmouth, MA apparently wanted to bring back the old wife's tale about razor blades in caramel apples on Halloween a little early this year.
Boston.com reported that a 65-year-old man was arrested on counts of animal abuse and cruelty after he allegedly stuck razor blades into the bark of trees in Massachusetts' Goodwill Park and covered the area with tantalizing peanut butter.
Officials received tips a few weeks ago that someone had been doing as such, baiting animals into the dangerous razor blades with peanut butter.
Luckily, Brian McGrath of Falmouth was apprehended following a joint investigation by the town’s Marine and Environmental Services department and the Massachusetts Environmental Police, according to Boston.com.
