A year ago, Maggie the moose came to live at Maine Wildlife Park in Gray, Maine.

They grow up so fast! Make sure you visit Maggie and all of the other gorgeous creatures at Maine Wildlife Park this Summer. The park is open weekdays from 9:30 am - 4:30 pm. According to their site, they have some cool events planned for the Summer. Here are some that caught my eye:

June 21st: FIRST DAY OF SUMMER! The wildlife park will celebrate by offering free admission from 5 pm to 8 pm.

June 29th (11:00 AM): Come to learn about Butterflies and Bugs

July 6th (11:00 AM): Learn about mineralogy and geological sciences with the New England Mineral Association.

July 20th (11:00 AM): Join local Maine chainsaw carvers as they use chainsaws to create eagles, bears & more. Some carvings will be on exhibit & for sale. Bring your cameras &  don't forget your earplugs!

August 31st (11:00 AM): Learn about the busy life of the honey bee, & the role of the beekeeper. A variety of delicious native Maine honey & other natural products from the hive will be on sale. YUM!
