And no, it doesn't have to do with recent terror attacks....

The Union Leader reports that Manchester- Boston Regional Airport is asking it's flyers to arrive two hours before scheduled departure- an additional 30 minutes earlier than usually requested.

This goes into effect from now through at least November as they begin construction on a new six-lane security screening center.  Once completed, one can only assume that this will save more time upon arrival.

The new screening center will reportedly "consolidate the airport’s multiple screening and entry points."

During construction, a majorirty of the facelift will be blocked from the public eye. The airport also asks it's customers to keep an eye for temporary signs directing passengers to the appropriate screening areas.
