Dorian Murray made his point known: he wanted to be famous around the world.  It was his dying wish.

Dorian, 8, of Rhode Island had made a big splash on social media while fighting cancer in recent months.  #DStrong became a popular hashtag, used from all around the U.S. to China.

But it was the Manchester NH Police Department that made the classy move yesterday following Dorian's death on Tuesday. Chief Nick Willard presented a poignant tribute to the young man on twitter....

Chief Willard made Dorian (the son of a Stonington CT police officer) Honorary Police Chief for the day before retiring his badge at the end of the day.  Classy move, Chief. Nothing but class.

The Murray's have started a charity in Dorian's honor.  They've posted details on Facebook.
