Mom Accused of Leaving Child With Drug Abuser

( Nashua, N.H. ) - A Nashua woman has been accused of leaving her 21-month-old child in the care of a man who died of an apparent drug overdose. 

Police said the 50-year-old man was in the apartment of 27-year-old Samantha Perkins last month, consuming heroin or fentanyl, when Perkins left the child with him and drove her 6- and 7-year-old daughters elsewhere. Perkins was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and a drug charge.
