When you think of St Patty's Day celebrations in the U.S a few places come to mind.

Chicago always does it up big by dying the Chicago River green to commemorate the day. They have been rocking this tradition since 1962 thanks to a particularly Irish loving mayor named Mayor Richard J. Daley.

Obviously, Boston is one of the most Irish cities in America and the St. Patty's Day parade in Southie every year is a day filled with debaucherous shenanigans. My friend and former Co Worker Matt Shearer from WBZ illustrated the parade in such an accurate way in this video:

As far as having Irish pride the state of New Hampshire doesn't come immediately to mind. However, maybe it should!

WMUR released an article saying the state of New Hampshire has the reported the most Irish heritage in the country. Almost 20% of our residents claim to have roots in Ireland!

The most Irish city in New Hampshire is Dover!

Around 25% of residents of the Garrison city to claim to be Irish and not just on St. Patty's Day, I'm talking all year round.

So get in touch with your Irish roots today, Dover! Grab a pint at Cara's Irish Pub downtown or take an Irish step dancing class at McDonough-Grimes Irish Dance School.

Congrats to Dover for being the most Irish city in the most Irish state in the country. I mean, come on! It doesn't get better than that on St. Patty's Day!
