Hey, I'm not here to judge! I have been guilty of more than one spelling snafu in my day. The worst is when you fire off an email to someone WAY more important than you, and notice a spelling error after the fact. SERIOUSLY, SPELL CHECK?! How are you going to do me dirty like that?

The word I have the hardest time with is 'embarrassing' (I always forget it's two R's, how embarrassing, right?). It usually happens when my fingers are flying across the keyboard faster than my brain can keep up. It's more of a rushing thing and less of an "I really don't know how to spell that word" thing. But you still feel like an idiot nonetheless.

Google Trends released a list of the most misspelled words in every state.

How did they find these results?

They analyzed searches that began with "How do you spell...,for each state. I found the results extremely chuckle-worthy.

Massachusetts misspells the word 'beautiful' most.

This word is not challenging to me because I always hear Jim Carey's voice in my head from the movie "Bruce Almighty" when I am trying to spell it.

So no offense to the Bay State but you'd think a state with so many ivy league schools would be able to spell the word "beautiful". (LOL I am cracking up at that zinger)

Maine's most misspelled word is Pneumonia.

I will not be trolling them for struggling with that word, it's a tricky one. There is a silent P and if you are Googling that word in the first place you probably aren't feeling the best, so you get a pass in my book!

The word we misspell most often in New Hampshire is '"protective".

This confused me a little. I don't want to diss our own but I will, this seems like a pretty straight forward word to spell. How do you mess it up? I know, I know. I am coming off a little holier and thou.

What word do you always misspell? Shoot me a message and let me know and I promise not to judge. (to your face)
