Maloney 260 Ale

In honor of the late Greenland Police Chief Michael Maloney, a Portsmouth brewery is rolling out a special ale this Friday night in his memory.

New England Country Music Festival

This Saturday, it's the New England Country Music Festival, starring Kellie Pickler! Other performers include: Charles Esten ('Deacon' from ABC's 'Nashville), Native Run, Leah Turner, The Mallett Brothers Band, North of Nashville and lots more!

Emergency summit on Greece
Europe's leaders are gearing up for an emergency summit today on Greece and its troubled finances. It's a meeting that could make or break Greece's future in the euro. Meanwhile, Greek citizens continue to struggle with the strict controls on their bank withdrawals. Banks are quickly running out of cash, and there are growing concerns about what will happen to people's savings. Banks have been closed for more than a week and cash withdrawals have been limited to 60 euros a day.

Hassan stands firm against Republican-led efforts
Governor Maggie Hassan is standing firm against Republican-led efforts to roll back the state law regulating who can carry concealed firearms. The Democratic governor vetoed legislation yesterday that would have removed the licensing requirement. She says the licensing requirement is necessary to keep hidden guns out of the hands of potentially dangerous people. .

Not many details in officer involved shooting
State police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in Bath. Few details have been released about the shooting, which happened yesterday near Route 302.
