Search for clues will go deep
It's like the "black box" recorders on airliners -- and it could provide some clues to what led to the sinking of a 790-foot cargo ship with 33 crew members aboard off the Bahamas during Hurricane Joaquin last week. Investigators will be searching for the device, bolted to the deck of the ship, which is now believed to be at the bottom of the 15,000-foot-deep sea. If it's located, a robotic sub could be used to bring it to the surface.

Massive water main break in Manchester
People driving to the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport may face some congestion to a major water main break in the area. The break happened Wednesday morning on Brown Avenue from the 293 overpass northerly up to the South Beech Street intersection. Police said travelers to the airport should plan ahead due to the traffic congestion.

Pinetree Power fire
Authorities say a generator overheated, exploded and sparked an oil fire at a New Hampshire power plant. No one was hurt. The blaze broke out Tuesday morning at Pinetree Power. The fire extended through the upper floors of the four-story, 15 megawatt power plant.
