Today is National Fluffernutter Day!

I can't think of a better sandwich to honor with a national holiday. 

The Fluffernutter was one of the school lunch box staples for me. I can remember opening my metal Wonder Woman lunchbox and seeing that sandwich waiting for me at lunchtime.

As I got older and 'brown bagged' my school lunch, I still always gravitated toward the 'Fluffernutter.' It didn't need refrigeration, it filled you up enough to last you until you got home from school and they're really easy to make!

I don't know about you, but there is always a big ol' plastic container of 'Fluff' and a jar of 'Skippy' in my kitchen cabinet for those times when I want to regress back to childhood!
