No matter what superlatives you hear people use describing The Zac Brown Band at Bank of NH Pavilion this weekend, their words probably fall short in describing how great these guys are live in concert.

Not only did they cover the hits they're known for, but the band took the audience on a journey through twists and turns with their set list. It only took a couple of songs for them to launch into a full throttle, high energy version of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" on Saturday night. They covered "Piano Man" by Billy Joel, and ended the show with "Enter Sandman" by Metallica.

A sold out crowd was there for a show Zac promised he'd be up for since he'd had a nap that afternoon. Zac is playing guitar with an injured tendon in his left playing hand. I asked him how it affected his playing and he just said he "worked around it". I was stunned to hear how amazing "working around it" sounds live in front of a fully charged crowd at Bank of NH Pavilion.

Before heading out of town, Zac and the band took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge with help from the Gilford Fire Department. Check out who they challenge..
