If you need a break from all of the negativity, the partisan politics, and the general doom and gloom that seems to be all over social media...then look no further than Laconia, New Hampshire.

Instead of spending their summer in front of the TV, playing video games, a group of teenagers are volunteering to help improve homes for those in need across New Hampshire. WMUR-TV reports the kids are volunteers with workcampNE. And because of their work this summer, more than 60 homes will be repaired.
