These days, we are all in desperate need of content on the internet that makes us feel happy! We need a distraction from the heaviness that seems to be prevalent in the world right now.

You know what usually does the trick for me? BABY ANIMALS! I just love seeing baby animals do just about anything. And if they have an unlikely comradery with another animal I am likely to internally combust from the cuteness!

Belchertown, Massachusetts, animal control had a busy day the other day saving a baby racoon and a baby groundhog; all in a day's work.

The racoon was found all all alone on a doorstep. I don't think I will ever recover from the fact that this racoon is standing up like a human. Did you know racoons stood like this? I had no idea!

Both babies headed to Leyden Center for Wildlife Rehabilitation and will be rehabilitated and released back to their homes when ready!!

Belchertown Animal control thanked the resident that found the racoon who ended up  transporting both babies to rehab! It certainly takes a village.
