Experience the Spirit of the Season at These 3 Must-See New Hampshire Christmas Markets
If you're like me, you might think that shopping at an actual store, rather than online, is much more fun, especially during the holidays. Lucky for us, New Hampshire has three really fabulous Christmas Markets where we can shop 'til we drop.
This is new for New Hampshire, the NH World Christmas Market is on the property of Anheuser Busch in Merrimack. It is inspired by the Historic Christmas markets of Europe. Not only will it have plenty of local artisans and gifts for you to buy, it also will feature live music, pictures with Santa, Krampus (scary!), dazzling light displays and plenty of places to eat.
Amherst German Christmas Market, Amherst, NH
This is run by volunteers to celebrate the charm of German Christmas markets, with an American spin. You will find artisans, local farms and plenty of food trucks. Yes, Santa will be there too! I don't know how he manages to be in two places at one time.

You're going to have to move fast for these two. They both happen this weekend, December 13 & 14, 2025.
Holiday Shoppes at Tuscan Village, Salem, NH
This open air marketspace is decked out to the nines. Every bough has bows and every branch is bright. There are many things happening like the above two - local craft makers and artisans, handmade treats and lots of twinkling lights.
After a day of shopping, stop in to the Tuscan Market for something to eat and a glass of wine. I recommend the Chicken Piccata and a tall glass of Pinot Grigio.
