New Hampshire Food Bank Says ‘Thanks for Nothing!’
Our friends at the New Hampshire Food Bank have brought back one of their most popular fundraising efforts. The annual 'Nothing Campaign' helps to raise awareness and funds in an effort to end hunger.
The New Hampshire Food Bank, which is once again partnering with Citizens Bank is gearing up to begin their annual "Nothing Campaign." The 'Nothing Campaign,' is an initiative aimed at raising awareness and funds in an effort to end hunger.
This is how it works: People can buy the cans of "nothing" for $5 each at participating supermarkets. Each can bought provides 10 meals and can be returned with donations. So, when you're at the grocery store, look for the 'Cans of Nothing' display, purchase one for five dollars then bring that can into work and have your co-workers make donations. You'll feel so good knowing you helped those who are food insecure right here in our own state.
Last year alone, the New Hampshire Food Bank distributed more than 14 million pounds of food.
