McDonald's restaurants across New Hampshire and the nation will be making some drastic changes to the iconic 'Happy Meal.'

In an effort to slim down the kid-focused menu choice, cheeseburgers and chocolate milk will not be listed as options. The fast-food chain is trying to cut down on the calories, saturated fat, sodium and sugar that children consume at their restaurants.

You can still ask specifically for cheeseburgers or chocolate milk with the kid's meal, but McDonald's said that not listing them will reduce how often they're ordered.

Interestingly, since the company removed soda from the Happy Meal menu four years ago, orders for it with Happy Meals have fallen 14 percent, the company said.

The article from CNBC says you can expect to see the changes nationwide by June.
