Before you start worrying about your artistic abilities, that's actually part of the fun.

Seacoast ArtSpot in Portsmouth is hosting its popular Paint Your Partner class, where couples (or even best friends and family members) can create hilarious, one-of-a-kind portraits of one another. According to the event description, the experience is all about having fun, not creating a museum-worthy masterpiece.

In fact, participants are encouraged to add funny details, inside jokes, or even a humorous background to make their paintings even more memorable.

No artistic experience is required! An instructor will walk everyone through mixing skin tones, painting facial features, and adding the finishing touches before the big reveal at the end of the night. I can only imagine the laughs when everyone finally turns their canvases around...

The studio is also BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite drinks and snacks to enjoy while you paint. Even if your portrait ends up looking more like a Picasso than a photograph, you'll still leave with a keepsake and probably a story you'll be laughing about for years.
