New Hampshire Native Steamrolling Her Way Through American Idol

A former 90 Day Fiance cast member, Claremont's Evelyn Cormier advanced to the top 40 after Hollywood Week.

Evelyn Cormier performed Oasis's 1995 hit 'Wonderwall" and impressed the judges enough to push her to the next round. American Idol judge Katy Perry gave Cormier advice about picking a song that is familiar and comfortable. On her Twitter account, the Teenage Dream singer likened the performance to Cher.

Later, Cormier posted on her Instagram account that Hollywood week was one of the most trying weeks of her life. "No sleep, constant nauseous, loads of pressure, migraines, soo much stress, separated from family—I’m not going to lie, by midweek, I didn’t think I could last another minute! But I did and all the glory to God for getting me through it!! I would do it all again if I had to!! Now time to focus again but this time in Hawaii!!"
