New Hampshire Police Warn Taylor Swift About Gun Toting ‘Boyfriend’
A 59 year-old New Hampshire man, being questioned by police on an unrelated matter, reporteldy bragged to officers that he is Taylor Swift's boyfriend, according to TMZ. The website is reporting that the man produced text messages he claimed were from Taylor.
According to TMZ, the man raised suspicion when he asked officers how many states he can drive through with a concealed carry weapons permit. He also told them "he wanted a gun to protect Taylor in Africa," the site reported.
While highly suspicious, police say they didn't detain the man because it isn't a crime for someone to say they want a gun to protect someone. TMZ stated however, that authorities here in New Hampshire are trying to contact Taylor to warn her.
Swift's Reputation tour kicks off in May. She is scheduled to perform three nights at Gillette Stadium in July.
