The much publicized closing of Toys R Us stores nationwide took another turn today, as the people scrambled to take advantage of real close-out deals.

Here in the Granite State, shoppers were lined up outside the Manchester store. Sales are also going on in Newington. This is after an unexplained day-long delay,as offers were set to begin yesterday.

Earlier this month, Toys “R” Us announced that it would close all stores. However, the brick and mortar stores might be replaced by Amazon. According to an article from Bloomberg, the stores would not remain Toys "R" Us. Instead, they would be rumored to display their Echo line, including Alexa, and other voice activated devices. Fresh off purchasing Whole Foods, this would put Amazon closer to competing with Walmart.

This doesn't mean Toys "R" Us will completely disappear. The Canadian division is up for sale, and there are hopes a buyer would continue to operate under the brand name.
