(Manchester, NH) - The NH Food Bank today kicks-off a major fundraising effort to fight hunger in the Granite State.

Governor Maggie Hassan and Joe Carelli of Citizens Bank will purchase the first cans of "Nothing" as the 2016 campaign kicks-off to raise awareness and funds to eliminate hunger in New Hampshire.

Food Bank Executive Director Melanie Gosselin says each can of "Nothing" purchased for $5 and filled with donations can replace the "Nothing" on your neighbors table with 60 nourishing meals.

Statistics show 1 in 9 New Hampshire residents are food insecure.
