Imagine it's a Sunday morning, and not just any Sunday morning, Easter Sunday, and you are at your local church getting ready to celebrate the special day and all of a sudden the unthinkable happens: a woman comes in holding a gun in one hand and of all things a baby in another, and she threatens to blow up the place.

What would you do? How would you react?

People's lives are at risk, not to mention your own life. One wrong move and your life could be over.

Well, here's a story about a real-life hero that just so happens to be from the Granite State involved in this crazy situation.

According to WMUR TV, the exact scenario mentioned above happened in San Diego, and David Michael Miller, who is from Salem, New Hampshire, along with a few other church members, tackled the woman, and someone grabbed the baby and the gun.

David is a sailor now living in San Diego and is being hailed as a hero for his efforts.

Fortunately, the woman did not have explosives and the gun was empty, the news station reported.

David is being awarded a very special honor: The Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, according to WMUR. This honor recognizes special people who have done heroic things.

It takes a very special person to do what David did.
