NH Sets A Record For Liquor & Wine Sales
(Concord, NH) - The NH Liquor Commission says the recently ended fiscal year showed $698.2 million dollars in sales at the 80 Liquor & Wine Outlets across the state.
The highest grossing store was on I-95 North in Hampton, bringing in $32 million in sales. The stores in Nashua, Hampton Southbound, Salem and Portsmouth rounded out the top 5.
Since the state opened the first Liquor Store in 1934, liquor and win sales have generated more than $3.5 billion in revenue.
New stores, like the store in Warner that opened in August, are being built in many locations.
The state will combine the current downtown Dover and Somersworth stores into a single Liquor & Wine Outlet on High Street in Somersworth next year.
