I mean, the fire pit is super cool, with a rock covering the back half so the heat is reflected towards you. But the best part of this campground is the fact that there are 200 campsites with gorgeous water views.
According to the Cape Ann Camp Site website, the campground was established around a fishing village in Gloucester, MA, in 1949. In addition to oceanfront tent sites, there are also plenty of RV sites with hook-ups.
There are six toilet and shower buildings, a camp store, and wifi available too.
For oceanfront camping, Cape Ann Camp Site seems like a great place. Wooded sites without hookups are $45 per night, a very reasonable price for a historic and gorgeous location.
