One Vote Made A Difference In Newmarket Election

(Newmarket, NH) - The numbers changed slightly, but the results were the same after a recount of ballots in the Newmarket Town Council Election.

Tuesdays recount gave Toni Weinstein, Gretchen Kast and Casey Finch the same victories as on Election Day March 14th, with 1035, 797 and 680 votes, respectively.

Finch held on to a one-vote win over Gary Levy, who recorded 679 votes.

Charles Walker finished with 476 votes.
