Lisa Celata from Pelham, New Hampshire is our local hero of the day! According to WMUR, she wanted to set a good example for her daughters by giving back to those working on the front lines. She asked two of her relatives who work in hospitals what is the number one thing they need more of. They both said without hesitation, "SNACKS!" Lisa is a woman of action and immediately launched a Facebook group to gauge community interest. Over 1,000 people have joined and donated to the cause. So far she has assembled and dropped off 80 snack baskets to hospitals across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

These baskets are large and filled to the brim with goodies! I'm talkin' fan favorites like Cheez Its, protein bars, gum, hard candy, cans of tuna fish, boxes of mac 'n cheese and more!

If you want to join Lisa's Facebook group and learn more about her efforts its called “Help Give Snacks and Comfort for Front Line Health Care Workers."
