Looks like it’s shaping up to be a boom season at Hampton Beach this year.

Vaccines are up and COVID-19 case counts are dropping, according to WMUR.com.

That means Hampton Beach businesses are getting ready for a busy summer season.

It couldn’t happen at a better time.  This summer many businesses are hoping that pent-up demand will bring lots of customers to their businesses.  From restaurants to hotels to summer rental units, this is going to be a big year for New Hampshire beaches.

John Nyhan, Hampton Chamber of Commerce President, tells WMUR.com, "People are excited about coming back to Hampton Beach. Those that weren’t able to come last year, I’m positive they’ll be coming this year."

It is believed that some COVID-19 restrictions will be rolled back by summer.

Nyhan also said they will try and encourage people to keep wearing masks, but there will soon start to be less restrictions as time goes on. He is excited for people to come back to the beach.

There may even be entertainment coming back this summer to the casino ballroom.

I don’t know about you, but I am especially looking forward to hearing some live music.  Many businesses didn’t survive the pandemic, so it’s critical to help those still open make up for a lost year.  I can’t wait to get back to the beach.  I need to get some fried dough, some sunshine, and some waves.  Maybe even try paddle boarding, I'm definitely gonna buy a boogie board this summer.
