Campbell's Soup Co. is recalling over four-thousand pounds of a chicken soup because of undeclared allergens and misbranding.
Apparently, some 'Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta' is actually 'Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Italian-Style Wedding Spinach & Meatballs in Chicken Broth' soup.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today the 'Campbell's Soup' products contain milk, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.
The following products are subject to recall:
- 18.6-oz. cans of “Campbell’s Homestyle Healthy Request Chicken with Whole Grain Pasta” with Best By date of Feb. 13, 2019 located on the bottom of the cans.
