After several years of deciding what to do with the former fire station, crews began the process of converting the 100-plus year old building into office space. That work was culminated with a grand-opening ceremony last week.

The work was actually completed approximately $90,000 under the original budget!

The Rochester Planning Department is closed today as staff members move into their new office space in the annex. Several other departments will offer limited services for the rest of this week as they, too. make the move.
