Here is a chance to check out some talented kids from our area and who knows if the next Steven Spielberg is among them? The Farmington High School students created the film “One Last Ride” which was produced by the award-winning FSDTV25 and will screen at the Rochester Opera House on April 2.

According to Fosters.com, the students were tasked with creating a documentary about high school and they decided to produce an “Office” style mockumentary about what really goes on in their high school. The movie features time travel, topical humor and witty banter between the performers.

The movie will begin at 7 pm at the Rochester Opera House located at 31 Wakefield Street in Rochester. The best part of this event is the admission price. No hefty price tag to this screening, just a request that you bring a food donation which will go to the First Congregational Church in Farmington. In fact, the event is being staged to bring awareness and urge local residents to support their local food pantries. According to fosters.com FSDTV is requesting non-perishable food items to be your ticket to admission. Support for local art and helping others. Win/Win.
