Rochester To Have Competing Cable Companies

(Rochester, NH) - The Rochester City Council has approved a 10-year cable franchise with Comcast.

Rochester residents will be able to choose between their current cable provider Metrocast and Comcast.

The New Hampshire Metrocast assets were purchased by Atlantic Broadband earlier this year.

Construction of the new Comcast system is expected to begin early next year and offer TV, internet, voice and wireless services.
