‘Schitt’s Creek’ Star Visits Cheers Bar in Boston

So bummed I missed this!

Annie Murphy, who plays Alexis on the TV show "Schitt's Creek," was in Boston this past week and made an appearance at Cheers Bar!

The bar posted a picture on their Facebook page:

I have to say, she looks just as adorable as she does in the hit show.

If you haven't seen it, it's definitely something you should binge. One of my favorite shows on television!  Check out the trailer from the final season:

The Boston Globe reports that Annie was super friendly and took time to talk to the staff and snap pictures, following a lunch in the back room.

One of my favorite parts of the show is Alexis' relationship with her brother David.  Her famous catchphrase is "Ew, David!"...Here's a montage:

Luckily the Cheers Bar on Beacon Street, where Annie stopped by, has remained open. The replica bar of the Cheers TV show in Faneuil Hall closed after 20 years due to Coronavirus.

NBC Boston Channel 10 reported the bar closed its doors for good on August 30th.

I love that Annie stopped in "where everybody knows your name" and I'm so happy to hear that she's just as nice in real life.
