Shark Attack Forces Cape Cod Beaches to Close

A number of beaches on Cape Cod were closed to the public Monday afternoon, after a shark attacked a seal very close to the shoreline.

Boston Globe he was at Nauset Beach with his daughter when the attack happened.

According to the Boston Globe, swimming was prohibited for a time Monday at Ballston Beach, Longnook Beach, Coast Guard Beach, Head of the Meadow Beach and Nauset Beach because of shark activity.
