Sing Your Way Into the Garth Brooks Dive Bar Show in Foxborough

Have you got a favorite Garth Brooks song? Is it one you just love to sing whether you're in the shower, the car, or just while hanging out a home?

Well, it's time to put those skills and love of Garth Brooks to use.

Come upstairs to Cara Irish Pub in Dover, New Hampshire, on Tuesday, November 26, to try out our "Gartheoke" singing contest to try and win tickets to Garth Brooks' December 2 dive bar show at the Six String Grill in Foxborough.

Here's what you need to know:

• Gartheoke is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, at Cara Irish Pub
• You must register for Gartheoke the day of event at Cara Irish Pub between 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. We will start drawing names (total of 15) just after 7 p.m.
• Contestants will sing a minimum of a verse and chorus of a Garth Brooks song. WOKQ will supply a few versions of the instrumental Garth music. Listeners can bring their own instrumental versions on a phone or flash drive, but only instrumentals will be accepted.
• Contestant with the loudest applause wins. (We will have a station rep there with a decibel meter to determine the winner. If there is an exact tie, then names will go into a drawing.)
• You must be 21+ to enter.

So warm up those pipes, find your favorite Garth song, and get ready to belt it out.

It's going to be a night of Garth for a shot at a night of Garth. We can't wait to see you there!
