Somersworth Substitute Teacher Faces Charges

(Somersworth, NH) - Somersworth Police have charged a substitute teacher with 4 counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

Police allege that 20 year old Elisha Mahar of Rochester was working as a sub at Somersworth  Middle School earlier this year and provided a Vape smoking device to a student. She is also alleged to have invited students to smoke marijuana.

Mahar was arrested on a warrant this week and is free on bail pending a court appearance later this month.
