Upward-facing Dog, Triangle Poses, and other Yoga positions will be a regular thing at many CVS locations in New Hampshire.

In just a few short years, CVS will have transformed from a place to pick up your smokes, to sweating out toxins. According to NECN, CVS stores are gradually moving towards personal health, with plans to add dietitians, medical equipment, and space for the occasional yoga class to 1,500 stores over the next few years.

Dubbed 'HealthHub,' stores will have about twice as much space devoted to health care as regular CVS's locations. Executive Vice President Dr. Alan Lotvin shared his vision for the future to NECN "The ultimate goal is bring more health services into people's communities where they can access them as part of their daily life."

The Woonsocket, Rhode Island based CVS, runs more than 9,800 retail locations nationally. In a move that created some controversy, it added health insurance when it acquired  Aetna last year. That is still being reviewed by a federal judge.

CVS officials told NECN they expect to run 1,500 HealthHub stores by the end of 2021.
