Sununu 'Not Feeling Well,' Goes Into Isolation

New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu said in a tweet Wednesday he is "not feeling well" and will take a COVID-19 test.

The governor in his message said that out of an "abundance of caution" he is postponing today's Executive Council meeting.

"Although Governor Sununu is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 he immediately began isolating this morning and will get a COVID-19 test soon. We will update the public accordingly and Governor Sununu hopes to get back on his feet soon," the message read.

Sununu was vaccinated with the one-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on April 10.

New Hampshire currently has 2,864 current reported positive cases with 121 hospitalizations as of Tuesday. The state COVID-19 dashboard doesn't list positive tests for COVID-19 in those who have received the vaccination known as breakthrough cases.

The governor was in Kentucky on Monday with other state officials "to get their on-the-ground perspective on lessons learned and best practices in one of the hardest-hit states during the pandemic," Sununu wrote on his Twitter account.

Over the weekend he was at the Conway Scenic Railroad as part of his Super 603 Tour, according to his Twitter account. According to his campaign Facebook page he was at the Seacoast Republican Women chili fest and the New Hampshire Young Republicans pig roast at Rhapsody Farm in Warner on Tuesday.
