Waterville, ME Mayor Nick Isgro made waves after renaming October 14th “Columbus Day,” despite the state having passed a law in April renaming it “Indigenous Peoples’ Day.”

If some New Hampshire lawmakers get their way, Columbus Day could soon be renamed 'Indigenous Peoples Day' here in the Granite State.

The Durham town council voted to designate the second Monday in October 'Indigenous Peoples' Day, the same day as Columbus Day.

Bangor, Maine will no longer celebrate Columbus Day.
