"Spirts and Demons" with Canadian country singer Meghan Patrick finds him trying to find salvation in an endless glass of bourbon.

"There is such thing as generational trauma," Ray says. "I did not realize that you carry that with you."

"I didn't show up after our wedding day, because by that point in time, there was a lot of stuff that she didn't show up for," Ray explains.

"For some reason, some powers that be didn't hear what me and 12 million other people heard," Ray shares.

Ray is opening up about his split from Carly Pearce, and how therapy and a move away from Nashville helped him heal.

Ray says that any resemblance between his ex-wife Carly Pearce and the actor he cast in his 'Get Her Back' video is a coincidence.
