The Goat Country Music Bar is Coming to Portsmouth This Summer

"The Goat" country music bar opened in Hampton 3 years ago. In that time it has become a staple at the beach. We are so excited that soon we will be able to experience its southern style charm on Congress St.

Downtown Portsmouth is a place where folks commonly dish out 18 dollars for a burger. So it is refreshing to hear that we will now have a low key option where the whiskey is plentiful and the burgers are 11 dollars.

Especially with the recent loss of the State Street Saloon, this news could not be coming at a better time. According to Seacoastonline, the Portsmouth location of "The Goat" is scheduled to open this August. It will be in the building that once housed "Radicci" and "The Crazy Cat Lounge".
